Configuration and Connection to AWS CLI on Windows Server 2025 DC Azure Edition

       To ensure the VM operates correctly, you need to open TCP port 3389 in the Security Group in AWS Firewall.

Connecting to the Server

  1. To connect to the Server, you should generate a “Private Key” in advance. This can be done using Guidance on usage. To connect to the virtual machine, click the Remote desktop file from step 10 of the Guidance on usage
  1. In the window that appears, enter the password from step 12 of the Guidance on usage and click OK.
  1. Check the box and proceed by clicking “Yes.”
  1. On the first launch, select and accept settings to send diagnostic data
  1. Run the Command Prompt shortcut on the desktop
  1. To check the currently installed version and available updates, use the command

 aws – – version:
